Hello again! This week on my blog I will be talking about the flag of my country, the UAE. The flag of my country isn't really different from other flag, except for the colors. As you can see in the photo (I hope it works) on the left side standing vertically is a red stripe. Right next to that are the horizontal stripes in the colors green white and black. The red, green, white and black colors represent the Arab people and the Islamic faith. I hope you now know much more about the flag of the UAE. http://www.worldflags101.com/u/united-arab-emirates-flag.aspx

Our flags are very similar! The flag of Italy has red, white and green also. However, all the stripes on my flag are vertical. The colours of UAE are in the same order as the Italian flag except for the fact that black would be replaced with the colour red.
ReplyDeleteWow! England's flag is similar to the UAE. England's flag is called the Cross of St.George and it also has the colours of red and white. The flag has a white background and a red cross. Ergo the name the Cross of St. George. England's flag also represents the relgion of England. However,it represents Christianity, not Islamic.
ReplyDeleteYour country flag is pretty awesome Sam. Germany's flag colours are black, red and yellow. However, the stripes on the Germany flag go horizontal. The only two colours our flags have in common are the black and the red.
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting Sam. My country's flag has stipes but only three. The colours of my flag are white, blue, red(in that order). My country's flag also has a meaning ,but thare are a lot of different reasonings for the colours and their meanings as individuals and as a whole. Guess you'll have to read my post. Good job.
